PLEASE LOOK AT OUR CONSIDERATION FOR RE-HOMING A BOXER BEFORE YOU APPLY!
These are some of our dogs desperately looking for their new loving homes. Home checks are carried out first and we check our records of registered potential new owners and do our best to match the right dog to the right home.  Please consider the slightly older dogs - they truly deserve some special comfort and love.

If you are interested in re-homing one of our dogs please telephone Deborah on 07831 173240.

Our dogs are listed in Alphabetical order.

BEAU AND OTTO
8 year old Otto (red and white) and 7 year old Beau (red) are looking for their new home. They are a very close pair so we need to find them a home together. They are gentle, well behaved boys, very friendly and loving and just enjoy being around people. They are fairly low energy boys, have good recall and can be left for short periods. Otto is good around  other dogs but Beau does not like some other dogs. Both dogs are neutered and vaccinated. For more information about Otto and Beau or if you think you may be able to offer them a loving home, please contact Deborah on 07831 173240.
Suitable with other dogs: Otto is good, Beau ok with some
Suitable with children: Older
Suitable with cats: No

BELLA
5 year old brindle and white Bella is a sweet little girl, very friendly and loves cuddles.  She is full of energy, travels well in the car, and is good with children and other dogs.  When she was younger she had an accident and broke her front leg which was repaired at Fitzpatrick Referrals, so she will need a home where her exercise can be monitored and a balance found to limit any over-exercise - she does have a lot of energy though and enjoys a good off lead run but the amount of this type of exercise would need to have a certain amount of restriction.  Boxer Rescue will fund any future medication/treatment that may be needed for this leg.  Bella came to us due to her previous owner’s change in work commitments. She is vaccinated and microchipped, she will need to be neutered in her new home and this will be funded by Boxer Rescue.
Suitable with other dogs: Good with other dogs
Suitable with children: Older
Suitable with cats: OK

Rupert

Can you help us find a home for Rupert?

He is about 4-5 years old and was living with a woman who is agoraphobic. She had not taken him out for a walk in the past year - he'd only been going in her garden. He's loving going for walks with his current carers (you'll see on the video), but is still very timid and is just getting used to new things and people. He is not good at the vet and needs to be muzzled. He'd be ideal for a single lady or a couple with boxer experience and no other pets, since he came from a home of a single woman. He is sometimes wary of new people and backs away from them, but he's overall a really sweet-natured, lovely boy despite the fact he's not had the best start. He has previously lived with a JRT, however for the moment he is best being the only pet, as suddenly there is a lot of change for Rupert to cope with. Unfortunately Rupert isn't suitable to live with children since he's never met children before.
