There are many myths surrounding the breed, especially whites, let me dispell those for you.
1) White Boxers are all deaf - WRONG
This is a common misbelief. White boxers are no more prone to deafness or illness that any other colour of boxer, or any other breed of dog.
2) White Boxers are not accepted as pedigree - WRONG
Breeders will often destroy Whites as they believe they cannot be accepted for competitions. This is absolute rubbish. White Boxers are just as accepted at events like Crufts if they meet the criteria, the same as coloured Boxers.
3) Boxers are aggressive - WRONG
This is not a demoninator of the breed. Any dog can be agressive, from Poodles to Great Daines, it is dependant on their treatment and environment.
4) Boxers are boysterious - this isn't strictly true or false, again it depends on the dog. Be aware that the majority of Boxers weigh between 25-32Kg, and due to their weight can be extremely strong dogs.
